China has made significant strides in the standardization of AI, both at the national and international levels. The country’s commitment to AI standardization not only reflects its emphasis on technological development and innovation but also its recognition of the importance of global cooperation in harnessing the potential of AI for the benefit of humanity. In addition, in response to the rapid development of generative AI, China is accelerating its pace in corresponding standardization development in order to regulate the application of such technology. To help foreign stakeholders to better understand China’s recent movement in AI standardization, SESEC held the Webinar SESEC V Webinar 10: Updates On China’s AI Standardization in 2023.
