The sixth plenary session of the China-Germany Electric Vehicle Working Group was held in Heidelberg, Germany in the week of 28th May 2018. Yin Minghan, deputy director of SAC, pointed out at the meeting that since the fifth meeting in 2017, the China-Germany Electric Vehicle Standardization Working Group has conducted numerous technical exchange activities and demonstration projects, achieved a series of positive results and effectively supported the rapid development of electric vehicle industry of the two countries. It is emphasized that the standardization cooperation in electric vehicles is a model of practical cooperation between China and Germany and will also be an important area for further deepening Sino-German cooperation. The two parties should continue to carry out in-depth, extensive cooperation in the standardization of electric vehicles, communicate actively, cooperate with each other and promote the development of global electric vehicle technology and industry.

During the meeting, the two delegations summarized the cooperation achievements in the fields of electrical safety, power battery, wireless power transmission (WPT), high power charging (HPC), and automatic charging of electric vehicles over the past year, and put forward further cooperation requirements and recommendations.
