E-commerce Law and Soil pollution prevention Law of PRC were authorized and released

In 31 August, China National People’s Congress (NPC) released E-commerce Law of PRC and Soil pollution prevention Law of PRC put into effect from 1 Jan. 2019.

SESEC VIEWS: after examined four times, the E-commerce law defines the E-commerce platforms’ duties to ensure legitimate operations and business and also the legal responsibilities to protect consumers’ right and personal information security; The soil pollution prevention law outlines pollution risk management system and states the setup of prevention funds, both central and provincial-level governments. Heavy and serious pollution Industries such as petrochemistry, nonferrous metal and electroplating would be under stringent management and inspection.
